Kbot Meet Browser Assist — Privacy Policy

Kbot Meet Browser Assist is a Chrome extension that connects the messaging and video-meeting accounts you are already signed into — in your own browser — to your Kbot Meet unified inbox, and prepares reply drafts for you to review and send yourself. This page explains exactly what data the extension touches, where it goes, and what it does not do.

What the extension collects

On a supported messaging or meeting site you have opened yourself (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, WeCom, WhatsApp Web, Telegram Web, Messenger, Instagram, Discord), the extension's content script reads the conversation you are currently viewing on that page — the message text and, where the platform's own UI shows it, the sender's name — so it can prepare a reply-draft box for you on that same page.

It does not read pages you have not opened, does not scan your browsing history, and does not read anything on sites outside this supported list.

Where the data goes

The conversation content needed to build your reply draft is sent over HTTPS to your own Kbot Meet hub, at the Kbot origin you are signed into (for example https://kasercorp.com/api or your own tenant's hostname). No data is sent to Anthropic, Google, Meta, Microsoft, or any party other than your own Kbot account.

What is stored locally

The extension's local storage holds only your own Kbot Meet connection settings — which platforms you have linked and your draft preferences. It never stores message content, contact names, or credentials locally.

Permissions used and why

• storage — remembers your own Kbot Meet connection settings (which platforms you linked, draft preferences) locally in the browser. No third-party data.
• tabs — detects which supported messaging tab is active so the content script can attach to the correct conversation surface you opened.
• host_permissions for the supported messaging and meeting platforms — lets the content script read the conversation you are viewing and inject a review-and-send draft box on that platform's own web page. Each host is a messaging surface you explicitly chose to connect.
• host_permissions for kasercorp.com and kbot.kasernet.com — the Kbot Meet hub itself; the extension hands linked conversations to your own Kbot inbox on these first-party domains.

What the extension does not do

• It does not auto-send, auto-post, or take any action on a platform without you. You review and tap Send on every message yourself.
• It does not ask for your account passwords on any platform — it works only through the browser sessions you are already signed into.
• It does not collect health, financial, payment, or location data, and it does not track your browsing history or keystrokes.
• It does not sell or share your data with third parties.
• No telemetry, no analytics SDKs, no third-party tracking.

Single-purpose statement

The single purpose of this extension is to connect the user's own, already-signed-in messaging sessions to their Kbot Meet inbox and prepare reply drafts for the user to review and send manually.

Removing access

You can disconnect a platform at any time from your Kbot Meet hub. You can also remove the extension itself from chrome://extensions; disconnected platforms simply stop appearing as connected in your Kbot Meet hub.
